Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar — Welcome to The Paradise on Earth

  • On Arrival at Srinagar, meet our representative at a pickup point at Srinagar Airport, and get transferred to your pre-booked hotel.
  • From the Airport it’s a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city.
  • The drive takes you past the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir.
  • Upon arrival in the hotel, complete the check in formalities.
  • Visit the world-famous Mughal Bagh including the Nishant Bagh (The garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Garden (Abode of love) and also visit Chashma Shahi, Indira Gandhi Memorial, Tulip Garden.
  • In the evening, you can go on a shopping spree at the bustling Lal Chowk to buy products such as leather goods, embroidered mats and carpets, antique jewellery and the highly demanded Pashmina shawl.
  • After a beautiful sightseeing tour, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2Srinagar to Gulmarg — Welcome to The Meadow of Flowers

    • Wake up to a fabulous view of the snow-capped mountains, enjoy a hearty breakfast and complete the check-out formalities from the hotel.
    • Post the breakfast, start your drive towards Gulmarg that is also known as the “Heaven falls on Earth”.
    • The drive past colourful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir.
    • We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometres to Gulmarg.
  • Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes.
  • If Weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region. 
  • Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. 
  • In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the Afarwat Mountain range.
  • The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colourful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwat peak.
  • From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley.
  • Later on, back to the hotel and have your meal and an overnight stay at Gulmarg.

Day 3Gulmarg to Pahalgam — The Valley of Shepherds

  • On the third day, wake up early in the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast and complete the check-out formalities from the hotel.
  • Post breakfast, start your drive towards Pahalgam that is also known as The Valley of Shepherds.
  • On arrival at Pahalgam, complete the check in formalities in the hotel.
  • Visit the Aru Valley, a small village located 11km from Pahalgam, which is famous for its scenic beauty and various adventure activities.
  • Visit Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie “Betaab” filmed here and Lidder River, the most popular tourist destination and enjoy their natural charm.
  • Furthermore, you will be taken to Chandanwari, which is near Betaab Valley and is surrounded by stunning snow-capped mountains.
  • Optionally, take a short pony ride to Baisaran (Mini Switzerland), this meadow for panoramic views of the valley.
  • After a beautiful sightseeing tour, return back to the hotel in Pahalgam for an overnight stay.
  • Have your dinner in the hotel and retire for the day.

Day 4 Excursion to Srinagar — Live a Bollywood Life in Houseboat

  • Wake up in the morning, have a hearty breakfast, complete the check out formalities at the hotel and get ready to explore back Srinagar. 
  • En route to Srinagar, take a halt at various beautiful spots and enjoy the scenic views and natural beauty.
  • Stroll through the Old City, which is full of narrow lanes, traditional Kashmiri wooden houses, and historical sites like the Jamia Masjid, a 14th-century mosque with Indo-Saracenic architecture.
  • Proceed to your houseboat on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. Upon arrival at the houseboat, complete the check in formalities and enjoy a leisure day in the houseboat.
  • The highlight of the day will be a Shikara ride in the evening where one will fall in love with the alluring sights.

Day 5Sunrise Splendor and Farewell – Last Glimpse of Kashmir

  • Rise early for a golden sunrise over Dal Lake, Witness the serene sunrise as it illuminates the lake, with Shikaras silently gliding across the waters.
  • Enjoy a traditional Kashmiri breakfast in the houseboat.
  • Optionally, head to the Shankaracharya Temple, located on a hilltop with a panoramic view of Srinagar.
