Bikaner, known as the “Camel Country,” got its nickname because of its long history with camels. The city is famous for camel breeding and its Camel Festival, where you can see camel races, dances, and beauty contests.

The city is known for its unique cultural heritage, especially the annual Camel Festival. This lively event celebrates the important role of camels in Rajasthani life with colourful parades and fun competitions.

You can also visit Bikaner for its amazing cuisine, especially its famous snacks like bhujia, a spicy, crunchy treat loved all over India.

Start your journey from Bikaner Airport or Railway Station and head to your hotel. Then visit Junagarh Fort, known for its grand palaces, detailed carvings, and beautiful courtyards. The fort is famous for its mix of Rajput and Mughal styles and offers great views and a look into royal history.

You can visit Lalgarh Palace to see its beautiful mix of Rajput, Mughal, and European styles, and feel the royal charm in its grand rooms. Then, go to the Sadul Museum to experience Bikaner’s history through its interesting exhibits and royal artefacts.

Next, visit the Ganga Singh Museum to see a great collection of artefacts. Then, head to the National Research Centre on Camels to learn about camel breeding and care.

On the second day, you can drive to Deshnok to visit the unique Karni Mata Temple. Here, you’ll see thousands of sacred rats, which are revered and add a fascinating touch to your visit.

You can visit the Bhandasar Jain Temple to see its amazing wall paintings and soak up its historic charm. Then, explore the Rampuria Havelis to admire their detailed designs and feel the rich history of these beautifully preserved buildings.
