The Silk Road wasn’t a single road; it was more like a big network of paths. These paths went through all kinds of places, like deserts, mountains, and even across seas. They connected lots of different people and places together.
On the 1st day Your adventure starts with your arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. After checking into your hotel in scenic Sillery Gaon, get ready for some amazing sights.
Ramitey View Point offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the Teesta River. Tinchuley View Point treats you to stunning mountain and tea garden vistas.
Silent Valley is a peaceful retreat in nature’s beauty. Finally, explore the ancient Damsang Fort ruins, where history comes alive with stories of the past.
On the 2nd day Start your day with a delightful breakfast and check out from your hotel in Sillery Gaon. Travel to Aritar and check in upon arrival. Visit Lampokhari Lake, one of Sikkim’s oldest lakes, and enjoy optional boating.
Explore the historic Dak Bungalow of Aritar, a relic of British colonial times.You can discover the ancient Aritar Gumpa, one of Sikkim’s oldest monasteries. Return to your hotel in Aritar for an overnight stay.
On the 3rd day After breakfast, check out from your Aritar hotel and get the necessary permits for your journey to Zuluk with your driver’s help.
This might take about an hour. Then, head to Zuluk, a small town known for its breathtaking views near the Indo-China Border. Check in to your hotel, relax, and enjoy the evening at leisure. Have dinner and stay overnight in Zuluk.
On the day 4th After breakfast, check out from your Zuluk hotel and head to Nathang Valley. Stop in Rongli for permits. Enjoy the views from Thambi and Lungthung Viewpoints along the way.
In Nathang Valley, visit the Tukla Valley war memorial, Kupup Lake, and the highest Yak Golf Course, each offering unique experiences.
Don’t forget to explore the historic Jelep La mountain pass with its stunning views and ancient stories.
Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, immersing yourself in the beauty and history of Nathang Valley.
On day 5th Start your day with a mountain view breakfast, then check out. Head to Reshikola, a scenic riverside spot.
Check in, relax, and enjoy birdwatching with chances to see Himalayan Bulbuls and Green Magpies. If you’re up for it, try rock climbing. End the day with dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.
On day 6th enjoy a hearty breakfast and check out from your Reshikhola hotel. Capture picturesque moments at the Coronation Bridge along the way.
