On your first day, relax and stroll along the Vibrant Mall Road. Where you can discover unique souvenirs and handicrafts to take back with you.

The next day, get up early to visit Tiger Hill. You’ll see a beautiful sunrise lighting up Mt. Kanchenjunga and the surrounding peaks. After breakfast, take a memorable Joy Ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.

You’ll pass through the scenic Batasia Loop, a marvel of engineering, offering panoramic view of the surroundings mountains. After that, you’ll visit the Ghoom Monastery, a serene Buddhist monastery known for its ancient architecture and spiritual ambiance.

Also you will explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park to see Red Pandas. Then, visit the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda for spiritual peace and breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Continue your adventure to Mirik, a peaceful spot famous for its beautiful Sumendu Lake and scenic views. Have fun with activities like boating and horse riding, and don’t miss the chance to shop at Pashupati Market.

In the evening, return to Darjeeling and take a relaxing walk around the Mall or the local market area.

Itinerary

Day 1NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling (Drive : 70 Kms — 3/4 Hrs)

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet our representative at a pickup point and get transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Darjeeling.
Pass through the scenic landscapes and marvel at the panoramic snow-covered Himalayan peaks & tea gardens.
Upon reaching Darjeeling, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The remaining day is yours to enjoy and rejuvenate at your leisure.
In the evening, you can also explore the bustling Mall Road in Darjeeling and buy some unique souvenirs and handicrafts.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 2Full Day Sightseeing of Darjeeling — The Queen of Hills

Kick-off your day at around 4:00 AM for an amazing experience. Climb up to the top of Tiger Hill to catch the sunrise casting lights on Mt. Kanchenjunga and adjoining peaks.
Have your breakfast after this. Enjoy the famous Joy Ride on the Toy Train ride over DHR (Darjeeling Himalayan Railway) that can be enjoyed from Darjeeling to Ghum upon arrival. Visit the DHR Museum later back to Ghum Station to take a Toy Train for Darjeeling (own cost).
Later on, visit the famous Batasia Loop (Army Memorial), which offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Darjeeling hill station lined with Himalayan peaks.
Embrace the spiritual side of Darjeeling by visiting the Ghoom Monastery, which houses a 15-foot-high Maitreya Buddha statue (made from clay bought from Tibet).
Following this visit, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday closed) to get a glimpse of the endangered red pandas.
Later, visit the Japanese Temple and the adjoining Peace Pagoda, which showcases 4 avatars of Lord Buddha and offers scenic views of the Mt. Kanchenjunga range.
Conclude by visiting the Tibetan Refugee Centre, where you can shop for Tibetan handicrafts that are produced by the locals there.
Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 3Excursion to Mirik — Full Day of Sightseeing

After having your breakfast, start driving towards Mirik in Darjeeling.
As you drive through picturesque valleys and lush green meadows, experience the soft breeze caressing your face and tranquilly calling you closer. Mirik is one of the most serene tourist attractions in Darjeeling.
Relax by the beautiful Sumendu Lake and let the pleasing weather and breathtaking views leave you mesmerised.
Later on, you can enjoy boating, horseback riding, and canoeing at Mirik.
Mirik is a great location for trekkers, as it offers several trails from which tourists can enjoy the view of thick and beautiful forests.
On your way back to Darjeeling, visit Pashupati Market and shop for imported clothes and cosmetics from Thailand.
In the evening, go for a stroll around the mall or the local market area.
Stay overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 4Departure — Darjeeling to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

After having a hearty breakfast, pack your bags and check out from the hotel and then board your vehicle to reach NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
It’s now time to head back home with a plethora of good memories.
