Feel the magic of Egypt as you stand before the towering pyramids, where ancient secrets unfold from the golden sands and every moment wraps you in a warm, timeless glow.

Your adventure starts in Cairo, where you’ll be warmly welcomed and taken to your hotel. After checking in, enjoy a magical evening Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza, where the ancient pyramids are illuminated with colourful lights and fascinating stories.

The next day, dive into Cairo’s history. Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, and then explore the Egyptian Museum, which houses treasures like Tutankhamun’s golden mask. Take a walk through the bustling Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, full of unique crafts and local goods.

On Day 3, fly to Aswan and board your Nile Cruise. Visit the impressive High Dam and take a boat ride to the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. See the giant unfinished obelisk and learn about its history.

While cruising on the Nile, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek, and the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. Continue your journey to Luxor.

In Luxor, explore the Valley of the Kings, where ancient pharaohs were buried in hidden tombs. Visit the grand Hatshepsut Temple, built for one of Egypt’s most famous queens, and see the Colossi of Memnon, giant statues that have stood for centuries. Wander through the Karnak Temple, known for its impressive columns and statues.

Next, head to Alexandria. Visit the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and see the ancient Roman Amphitheater. Check out the Saint Mark’s Cathedral and the Sidi Morsi Abu al-Abbas Mosque. Enjoy beautiful views of Quaitbay Castle, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, and relax in the lovely Montazah Gardens.

Finally, return to Cairo. Reflect on your amazing trip as you head to Cairo International Airport for your flight back to Delhi, taking home wonderful memories of Egypt.

Day 1Arrive in Cairo – Sound & Light Show

  • Upon arrival in Cairo, you’ll be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist with passport control, customs, and luggage.
  • A private, air-conditioned vehicle will transfer you to your hotel for check-in.
  • After check-in, you can relax or explore the city at your own pace.
  • In the evening, enjoy the mesmerising Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids, where the wonders of ancient Egypt come to life through lights and narration.

Day 2Cairo – Full Day Tour

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer in an air-conditioned vehicle with your Egyptologist guide for a full-day tour.
    • Great Pyramids of Giza:
      • Visit the Great Pyramid, part of a larger complex with mortuary temples and smaller pyramids.
      • Learn about Queen Hetepheres’ tomb and the surrounding noble mastabas.
    • The Sphinx:
      • Explore the iconic Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of a Pharaoh, symbolising Egypt’s Old Kingdom.
    • Egyptian Museum (Tahrir Square):
      • Guided tour of the museum, home to 145,000 ancient artefacts.
      • View the famous Tutankhamen collection, including the golden mask and sarcophagus.
      • Visit the royal Mummy Room with 11 Pharaonic dignitaries.
    • Khan El-Khalili Bazaar:

  • Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Cairo – Aswan Flight – Board Nile Cruise

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
  • Transfer to Cairo domestic airport for your flight to Aswan.
  • Upon arrival, meet our representative and proceed to your Nile Cruise to drop off your luggage.
  • Start your Aswan sightseeing:
    • High Dam:
      • Visit the impressive High Dam, an engineering marvel built in the 1960s, stretching 11,811 feet in length and towering 364 feet high.
    • Philae Temple (by motorboat):

    • Unfinished Obelisk (view from outside):

Day 4Nile Cruise – Sail to Kom Ombo

  • Breakfast on board the Nile Cruise.
  • Sail to Kom Ombo and visit:
    • Kom Ombo Temple:
      • Discover the unique dual-temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods—Horus the Elder (Harwer) and Sobek, the crocodile god. The temple is symmetrically divided into two sections for each deity and their families.

Day 5Nile Cruise – Edfu and Luxor Temples

  • Breakfast on board the Nile Cruise.
  • Visit Edfu Temple:
    • Explore the temple dedicated to the triad of gods: Horus of Behdet, Hathor, and their son, Hot-Sema-Tawy. Construction began under Ptolemy III and was completed by Ptolemy IV. Edfu was once known as “Apollo polis Magna” by the Greeks, who identified Horus with their god Apollo.

  • Sail to Luxor in the afternoon and visit:
    • Luxor Temple:
      • Discover the beauty of Luxor Temple, known in the New Kingdom as Ipt-Rsyt, the southern shrine, contrasting with the northern Karnak Temple. Built by Amenhotep III, it stands close to the Nile and was constructed on the site of an earlier temple.

Day 6Disembark Nile Cruise – Luxor – Cairo Flight

      • Explore the resting place of the New Kingdom pharaohs, known as Biban el-Muluk, with its hidden tombs in the Great Place of the eastern branch, behind the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.
    • Hatshepsut Temple:
      • Visit the stunning mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, designed by her architect Senenmut and set beneath the Theban Peak. Learn the fascinating story of Hatshepsut’s divine lineage and her complex reign.
    • Colossi of Memnon:
      • Marvel at the two towering statues of Amenhotep III, which once guarded his mortuary temple. Each colossus, standing 21 metres tall, represents the king seated on his throne.
    • Karnak Temple:
      • Explore the grand Temple of Amon Ra, featuring the iconic ram-headed avenue of Sphinxes and vast open courts. Walk through the 100-metre-long court lined with rows of papyrus columns.
  • Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo.

Day 7 Cairo – Alexandria – Cairo

      • Explore the largest Roman cemetery, consisting of three levels cut into the rock.
    • Ancient Roman Amphitheater (30 minutes):
      • Visit the Roman Amphitheater and view the display of Alexandria’s sunken monuments.
    • Saint Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral (30 minutes):
      • Visit the oldest church in Africa.
    • Sidi Morsi Abu al-Abbas Mosque (30 minutes):
      • Stop by Egypt’s most beautiful and largest mosque, perfect for a photo stop. Walk past Egypt’s oldest funfair.
      • Qaitbay (30 minutes)
      • Visit the corniche and the old harbour, where you can see traditional fishermen. View the outside of Qaitbay Castle, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
    • Montazah Gardens (1 hour):
      • Tour the royal gardens of King Farouk and his palace, explore the royal beaches, and enjoy some time in the peaceful surroundings.
  • Return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 8 Cairo – Delhi Flight
