In their language, Lachen means “small pass.”

On your first day, take it easy and have fun exploring MG Marg. It’s a lively street full of shops and excitement. Don’t forget to try some yummy Sikkimese food while you’re there!

On day two, you’ll first visit the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, known for its stunning beauty with clear blue waters and picturesque mountain views. After that, you’ll visit Baba Mandir, a sacred spot, and then head to Nathula Pass, a historic mountain route.

Day three takes you to After breakfast, go to Pelling through Ravangla or Namchi. In Ravangla, you can see the huge Shakyamuni Buddha Statue in a peaceful park with great mountain views.
In Namchi, visit Namchi Chardham, which has replicas of India’s four holy temples in a beautiful setting. Enjoy the scenic drive with the stunning Kanchenjunga Ranges in the background.

As day four begins, In Pelling, go on an exciting city tour. Visit the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, where the water is calm and leaves don’t float on it. See beautiful waterfalls like Rimbi and Kanchenjunga Falls.
Explore old monasteries like Khecheopalri, in a quiet forest, and Pemayangtse, with amazing views and detailed Buddhist art.

On the final day, You will also discover Rabdentse Ruins, the ancient capital of Sikkim, to learn about its history. Enjoy other beautiful spots with amazing mountain views and lush greenery. Depart from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport with wonderful memories.

Should I book pre/post tour accommodation?

Day 1NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok (Drive : 125 Kms — 4/5 Hrs)

On Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB). meet our representative at a pickup point and get transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Gangtok.
Don’t forget to capture the picturesque views of the mighty Teesta River on the way.
Upon reaching Gangtok, complete the check in formalities to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
In the evening, you can visit the MG Marg of Gangtok where you can collect souvenirs and treat your taste buds with authentic Sikkimese cuisine.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2Gangtok — Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After a tasty breakfast, you will leave to visit the famous Tsomgo Lake, aka Changu Lake.
It has an elevation of about 3,780 m, offers breathtaking scenic beauty, is home to Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory birds, and is popular for its colour-changing phenomenon.
Following this, you will visit the shrine of the famous Baba Mandir, where it is believed that his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high-altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.
Later, you can also visit Nathula Pass at your own cost (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays), which is one of the most crucial passes on the crossroads of the India-China border.
Later, return to Gangtok and have your meal at hotel.
An overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 3Gangtok to Pelling via Ravangla/ Namchi — From East Sikkim to West Sikkim

After breakfast, enjoy a comfortable transfer from Gangtok to Pelling via Ravangla / Namchi.
On the way, stop by Buddha Park and witness the 130 ft. High Shakyamuni Buddha Statue.
Visit the Namchi Chardham and witness the 108 ft. High Statue of Lord Shiva encircled and supported by a girdle of Chardham, which are situated in India at four different places, in East as Jagannath, West as DwaRka, South as Rameshwaram, and North as Badrinath.
As you drive towards Pelling, witness the beauty of the Kanchenjunga Ranges.
Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4Pelling City Tour — Visit the most sacred lake of Sikkim

After a hearty breakfast, indulge in an immersive city tour of Pelling.
Head to the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, which is also known as the wish-fulfilling lake and has religious significance in both Hindu and Buddhist folklore.
Further sightseeing will include a visit to some of the most scenic waterfalls, like the Rimbi Waterfalls and the Kanchenjunga Waterfall.
Later, seek blessings from the local deities by visiting the Khecheopalri Monastery and Pemayangtse Monastery.
Visit the Rabdentse Ruins to learn about the glorious past of Sikkim.
Other sightseeing places for the day include Bird Sanctuary, Darap Valley, Helipad Ground, & Rimbi Orange Garden.
Return back to the hotel after a day full of sightseeing for an overnight stay.

Day 5Departure — Gangtok to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

After having a hearty breakfast, check out of the hotel and then board your vehicle to reach NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
It’s now time to head back home with a plethora of good memories.
