Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Ahmedabad — Welcome to The Manchester of India

  • On Arrival at Ahmedabad, meet our representative at a pickup point at Ahmedabad Airport / Railway Station, and get transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Ahmedabad.
  • On arrival at the hotel, complete all the check in formalities, get your room keys and settle down and relax in your respective rooms for a while.
  • Start your exploration with a visit to Sabarmati Ashram, Mahatma Gandhi’s former residence. Explore the museum showcasing his life and principles of non-violence.
  • Continue to visit the Hathisingh temple followed by the Kankaria lake where you can enjoy the adjoining scenic beauty while boating. 
  • Optionally, visit Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, known for its intricately carved stone lattice windows (jali).
  • Later on back to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day as leisure.
  • You can indulge in shopping from the adjacent places since the plan is to stay overnight there you get plenty of time.

Day 2Ahmedabad to Dwarka via Jamnagar (Drive : 450 Kms - 7/8 Hrs)

  • Post breakfast, complete the check out formalities and drive towards Dwarka via Jamnagar.
  • En route, visit Jamnagar’s Lakhota Lake and Lakhota Palace, offering insights into local history and architecture.
  • Must visit the famous Bala Hanuman Temple where you can experience the non-stop ram dhun which has been going on since 1956 and hence the temple earned a place in the Guinness book of world records as well. 
  • Continue to drive to Dwarka, upon arrival in the hotel complete the check in formalities.
  • Visit to the majestic Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Day 3 Dwarka Exploration — The Gateway to Heaven

  • Start the day a little bit early to witness the divine Mangla Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple, a serene experience as the temple echoes with prayers and hymns at the break of dawn.
  • Thereafter, head back to the hotel. Upon Arrival, you will be served with a delicious morning meal.
  • Furthermore, you will be taken out for a scenic boat ride to Bet Dwarka, the legendary kingdom of Lord Krishna. Explore the Bet Dwarka Temple, which houses ancient artefacts and offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.

Day 4Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar (Drive : 230 Kms - 3/4 Hrs)

  • After a leisurely breakfast, complete the check out formalities from the hotel and proceed towards Somnath via Porbandar, a scenic drive of approximately 5-6 hours along Gujarat’s coastal belt.
  • Enroute to Porbandar, you will visit the birthplace of Gandhi Ji, that is, Kirti Mandir and also visit the only Sudama Temple in the world.
  • Later that day, proceed towards Somnath. Upon arrival in Somnath, complete the check-in formalities in the hotel and unwind amidst the tranquil surroundings.
  • Must visit the legendary Somnath Temple, one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva, overlooking the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea. Witness the mesmerising evening Aarti, a spiritual spectacle amidst the backdrop of the setting sun.

Day 5:Somnath to Diu (Drive : 90 Kms - 2/3 Hrs)

  • On arrival at Diu, complete the check in formalities in the hotel.
  • Explore the historic Diu Fort, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Sea from the fort’s walls.
  • Visit St. Paul’s Church, this beautiful church known for its baroque architecture and intricate wood carvings.
  • Later on, visit the natural beauty of Naida Caves with their intricate rock formations and sunlit chambers.

Day 6Diu to Sasan Gir (Drive : 60 Kms - 1/2 Hrs)

  • Post breakfast, leave Diu and head towards Sasan Gir, home of the majestic Asiatic lions, it takes approximately 60 km and takes around 1 – 2 hours.
  • Enroute must visit Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, this temple known for its five shivlings located amidst rocks on the seashore, washed by tidal waves.
  • If time permits, explore this unique Shell Museum housing a collection of seashells from around the world.
  • Continue to drive towards Sasan Gir. Upon arrival at the hotel, complete the check in formalities.
  • After lunch, continue to safari in Gir National Park, explore the wilderness to spot Asiatic lions, leopards, and diverse wildlife in their natural habitat.
  • Later on, back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day as leisure.

Day 7Sasan Gir to Ahmedabad (Drive : 370 Kms - 7/8 Hrs)

  • Drive towards Ahmedabad, it takes approximately 370 kms and takes around 7 – 8 hours.
  • En route, visit Adalaj Stepwell, an architectural marvel showcasing Indo-Islamic design and craftsmanship.
