Day 1Arrival at Bangalore and transfer to Mysore — Welcome to The City of Palaces

  • Upon your arrival in Bangalore Airport / Railway Station, our representative will extend a warm welcome and accompany you on a scenic journey to Mysore.
  • The journey from Bangalore to Mysore takes approximately 2 – 3 hours, covering a distance of 147 km.
  • After arriving in Mysore, complete the check in formalities in the hotel.
  • The first place to visit in Mysore is the Mysore Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace. This magnificent palace was once the residence of the Wodeyar dynasty and is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mysore.
  • After visiting the palace, head to the Chamundi Hills, which is located around 13 km from Mysore.
  • Visit the Chamundeshwari Temple there, which is dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari and is a popular pilgrimage site in Mysore. The view from the top of the hills is breathtaking, and you can see the entire city of Mysore from here.
