You will enjoy traditional dances like Garba and Dandiya Raas during Navratri, and admire beautiful handicrafts like Patola silk sarees and Bandhani fabrics.

Gujarat is filled with amazing historical sites. Rani ki Vav is a stepwell with beautiful carvings, and Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park has old forts and temples that show the area’s rich history. You’ll also be impressed by the stunning Sun Temple at Modhera.

You’ll love Gujarati cuisine with its delicious dishes like dhokla, thepla, and khandvi, making each meal a special treat.

Take a glimpse of the journey which starts from Jamnagar Airport or Railway Station and takes you to your pre-booked hotel in Dwarka.

You can visit the impressive Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, and feel the deep spirituality of the place while seeing a real sense of Krishna’s presence.

You can experience the magical evening Aarti, where melodious chants fill the air and glowing oil lamps create a serene atmosphere.

And the Rukmini Devi Temple with its beautiful carvings dedicated to Krishna’s wife, and the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, an important Shiva shrine known for its spiritual significance.

In the evening, start with the peaceful Mangla Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple. Then enjoy a scenic boat ride to Bet Dwarka, where the vibrant waters make you feel connected to the history of Lord Krishna.

The next day, check out and take a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Somnath via Porbandar. In Porbandar, visit Kirti Mandir, Gandhi Ji’s birthplace, and feel the special connection at Sudama Temple, which celebrates Krishna’s friendship with Sudama.

You can explore the historic Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and enjoy the beautiful evening Aarti.

And also explore Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is said to have been mistaken for a deer. Visit the Triveni Sangam, where three rivers meet, offering a spiritually uplifting experience. Finally, relax at Somnath Beach, known for its calm and beautiful setting.

Wrap up your trip with a drive to Diu (90 km, 2-3 hours). Explore Diu Fort for its great sea views and old architecture, visit St. Paul’s Church with its beautiful baroque design, and check out Naida Caves for their unique rock formations and mysterious vibe.

You can relax at Nagoa Beach with its lovely curved shore and calm waters, visit the INS Khukri Memorial to learn about the naval ship and its crew, and soak in the stunning sunset views at Sunset Point, where the sky lights up in beautiful colours as the sun dips below the horizon.

On the final day, visit Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, famous for its sacred Lingas in the rocks, and check out the Shell Museum with its interesting collection of shells, if you have time.

Start your drive back to Jamnagar (5-6 hours). As you reach the airport or railway station, remember the great memories and blessings from your trip.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Jamnagar and Transfer to Dwarka (Drive : 140 Kms - 2/3 Hrs)

  • On Arrival at Jamnagar, meet our representative at a pickup point at Jamnagar Airport / Railway Station, and get transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Dwarka.
  • Begin your journey early in the morning towards Dwarka, a city steeped in mythology and spirituality, located approximately 2-3 hours away.
  • Upon arrival in the hotel, complete all the check in formalities in the hotel.
  • Start your spiritual exploration with a visit to the majestic Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. 
  • Continue your spiritual journey with a visit to the beautifully crafted Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s consort Rukmini.
  • Later on, visit the revered Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12s prominent Jyotirlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its architectural splendour and spiritual significance.
  • Furthermore, you will be taken out for a scenic boat ride to Bet Dwarka, the legendary kingdom of Lord Krishna. Explore the Bet Dwarka Temple, which houses ancient artefacts and offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.

Day 2 Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar (Drive : 230 Kms - 3/4 Hrs)

  • After a leisurely breakfast, complete the check out formalities from the hotel and proceed towards Somnath via Porbandar, a scenic drive of approximately 5-6 hours along Gujarat’s coastal belt.
  • Enroute to Porbandar, you will visit the birthplace of Gandhi Ji, that is, Kirti Mandir and also visit the only Sudama Temple in the world.
  • Later that day, proceed towards Somnath. Upon arrival in Somnath, complete the check-in formalities in the hotel and unwind amidst the tranquil surroundings.
  • Must visit the legendary Somnath Temple, one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva, overlooking the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea. Witness the mesmerising evening Aarti, a spiritual spectacle amidst the backdrop of the setting sun.
  • Explore nearby attractions such as Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is believed to have taken his last earthly breath, and Triveni Sangam, the holy confluence of three rivers.

Day 3Somnath to Diu (Drive : 90 Kms - 2/3 Hrs)

  • Post breakfast, leave Somnath and head towards Diu, a journey of approximately 90 kms and taking around 2 – 3 hours.
  • On arrival at Diu, complete the check in formalities in the hotel.
  • Explore the historic Diu Fort, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Sea from the fort’s walls.
  • Visit St. Paul’s Church, this beautiful church known for its baroque architecture and intricate wood carvings.
  • Later on, visit the natural beauty of Naida Caves with their intricate rock formations and sunlit chambers.
  • Relax at Nagoa Beach, famous for its horseshoe shape and clean, serene waters. Enjoy activities like swimming, jet skiing, and parasailing.
  • Must visit the INS Khukri Memorial, dedicated to the Indian Navy ship INS Khukri, sunk during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.
