There is a relation between Sikkim and Rice. Sikkim, known as the Hidden Valley of Rice, as the climate and rainfall are perfect for growing rice.
You can see rice fields covering the hillsides, and the earthy aroma of the wet soil mixed with the subtle, sweet scent of rice stalks fills the air. This scent is particularly strong during the early morning or just after a rainfall, when the moisture intensifies the earthy notes.
